Covid-19 pandemic has increased spending in tech
Finally, some good news!?
Nasscom and McKinsey provide strong evidence businesses are beginning to spend again on technology with a 30 % jump in pandemic digital transformation and an 80% jump in cloud spending. One would hope that the businesses that survive the pandemic will be stronger and more agile with these added investments. But as many companies have already experienced, digital transformation brings short-term disruption, job uncertainty, and even job losses. So, should we be expecting even more short-term pain with long-term gain as we look to emerge from the pandemic?
