MISA/ASIM Canada serves as the national advocate for municipalities concerning information and communications technology. It aims to achieve consensus on pertinent issues that matter most to municipalities across Canada. The organization works to craft policy statements that reflect the collective perspectives of its member associations. It actively engages in national committees addressing technology's role in government services. It is the goal to represent member associations in discussions with governmental and international bodies, fostering collaboration among municipalities, and promoting excellence in information and communications technology.
The annual MISA Ontario 2023 InfoSec Conference took place at Deerhurst Resort in the picturesque District Municipality of Muskoka from October 23-25, 2023. As dedicated MISA members, the Edgeworx team looks forward to attending the annual conferences.
